FrOM FLORENCE TO MAYFAIR

Octavian K.’s inception was a consequence of a pre-existent concept aiming to establish a private members’ club for lovers of art and fashion aficionados alike.

Once in Florence, one has to accept art as an essential part of life and I made no exception to that rule. Having studied and lived in the magnificent Tuscan marvel city for almost 3 years, I decided to transpose that profound experience into a business idea which would feed from the strong existing link between the worlds of art and fashion. Octavian K. would also be the driving force behind the private members’ club concept.

Shared below are a few highlights of this remarkable journey, from just a concept to opening a showroom in the heart of London, the exclusive Mayfair area.

FrOM Charcoal TO GOLD

The logo design included a significant number of sketched variants and countless refinement sessions. The outcome is a continuous, uninterrupted line starting at the bottom with a diamond-like shape extending into 2 symmetrical loops on the sides and culminating at the top with the same 3 distinct shapes coming together this time in a similar fashion with the famous fleur-de-lis symbol of Florence.

The logo’s versatility was of the essence as we ultimately applied it on all physical and digital mediums, from corporate ID to hand-stitched details on our garments and even forged into luxurious pieces of jewellery.

RESPONSIVE DESIGN

UX and UI for a responsive website including a fully functional e-commerce solution.

Product detail pages

Even though our main product offering was a bespoke and made-to-measure service via personal appointments it was also important to incorporate an e-commerce solution on the website for our limited edition ready-to-wear garments.

Consumers tend to have an emotional attachment to purchasing products of such luxury and status so our product details pages were designed to find information easily and quickly but also keeping the user engaged emotionally throughout the checkout process.

EDITORIAL CAMPAIGNS

Directed and produced two editorial campagins shot on location in Florence, Italy and in the south of Iceland.

FILM DIRECTION, PRODUCTION & EDITING

Directed, produced and edited two short films for our Limited Edition Spring-Summer and Fall-Winter collections. ‘Goddess’ was shot on location in Florence, Italy whilst ‘Reveria’ was shot in the south of Iceland.

3D CONFIGURATOR

Using a state of the art 3D technology and AI powered contactless body measuring solutions we aim to be at the forefront of a new digital era for the exclusive world of fine Italian tailoring.
